In 2000 Lotta realized her dream of living in a sunny climate, (very exciting for a Swede!) and opening her first Flagship Boutique. She moved her headquarters from the gritty fashion streets of NYC, to the blue open skies of Los Angeles. In LA she concentrated on growing her brand and serving her large celebrity clientele, including Charlize Theron, Madonna, Beyonce, Jessica Simpson and many, many others. After nine successful years in retail in the Melrose Heights area, Lotta decided to move her flagship store to West Third Street in Hollywood, one of LA’s hottest new shopping districts. Her beautiful beach-shop inspired boutique is located between famous eatery Joan’s on Third and Magnolia Bakery, between Sweetzer and Orlando.

Having a flagship store allows Lotta to try out new designs and get immediate customer feedback. Eight years ago, when Lotta designed a simple but chic jersey strapless dress, the customer feedback was immediate – “this is The Best Dress!” they all exclaimed. With that enthusiasm the dress quickly became part of her collection and was officially named “The Best Dress.” To this day The Best Dress remains one of Lotta’s biggest sellers. Angelina Jolie made it famous across the world when she was photographed wearing it in Africa, while frolicking on the beach with Brad and Maddox (check out the dress in our SHOP section). Spending time at her store also allows Lotta the chance to meet with top Costume Designers, creating pieces for the stage for stars like Cher and Prince and for Film & TV: “You Me & Dupree,” “The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants,” and “Desperate Housewives,” just to name a few.

Though Lotta is famous for her stunning Resort Collection and Eveningwear, she has also become known as the Accessory Queen! In the center of her store, under a skylight, stands The Jewel Tree – a lovely tree covered with sparkling necklaces, feathered hairpieces and beaded bracelets. Top stylists flock to Lotta’s to stock up on affordable sparkling baubles to dress their celebrity clients in. And for customers, it’s their “Go To Store” when they are in need of a present for a stylish girlfriend, or, a pair of earrings for date night.

The flagship store is also the site of many fun & stylish soirees! Whether it’s a Haiti Fundraiser, or a girly cocktail party with pink “Lottinis,” the boutique is always a place where creative and stylish Angelenos gather. Lotta is excited to be expanding her website so that it can be a Virtual Boutique for all the stylish gals who don’t live in Cali.
